what about the squadron putty??



anyone use it for filling?? I did ONCE, but it was for a small project and I was a novice..... Just wondering about it.

My understanding is that it's pretty much the same as the Tamiya stuff. Like I said before, all single part putties will have the shrinkage problem, but perhaps some worse than others? Multiple thin coats is the solution - do don't necessarily have to sand between coats either...

If that's all you can get I'm sure the Squadron green will be fine. If you ever do any research on single part putties you will pull your hair out - one person will swear by one product and the next declare that same product as total rubbish. So long as you remember the limitations of the material and when to use it you'll be ok.
