Recommending legoland?
Well. It is mainly a theme park with various rides and such. All of it pretty kid friendly orientated. So no really heavy roller coasters with loopings. Still fun though. Our ten year old daughter is a real fan of the wild rollercoasters still was content with them and other rides. They were perfect for our seven year old son.

Throughout the park you will of course find various Lego build things. Most of it in the miniland scale which is bigger then regular lego. Most of them being something from Denmark but there are also others like star wars at that scale.

Very inspirational to see all of that. If you like Lego that is. And yes we like Lego. Which is a great brand. Not cheap but completely worthwhile. Just like that other hobby.

The park isn't enormous and one day will be enough to see all of it. Especially outside the main holidays.

And when you come to Europe again we should try to have a meet up. Shaking hands with the mangozac would be cool.

I've read that the prizes is Australia are pretty high for Lego compared to the rest of the world. Good thing about Lego is that it gains worth over time. Daughter has the haunted mansion which is now out of production for one year and the eBay prizes are already insane.

As for the rides: you should do them since the best builds can be seen in some rides.

Everything is expensive in Australia - have you seen the price of Games Workshop here?

Anywhoo, after holiday, re-doing the backgarden, a week with lots of things to do ahead, I might get back to painting soon. Finally!

Also: woud a GothiComp 2015 still be viable? Last year I checked this in march to open april 18th. One month late wouldnt matter I think. Though I am wary of how many people will actually enter in these times.

Perhaps a new name to attract more ships from other games?

And I a finally painting again as well. The Dreadnaught gained its final white touches in 90% of the places. Guns remain to be finished. The Dome, stripes and lights.
And at the same time the Eldar Shadow is gaining completion as well. The Hellebores still have a way to go. And the six Zeus escorts are over 50% as well. Yay!
