Nice to see some more pics after a year, I totally get where your coming from with the creators block though, happens all the time with me.

I like how its shaping up , the multi-tiered bridge is working well, maybe a couple more smaller observation bridges on each side would be cool. Think of WW2 battleships and the amount of lookouts sub bridges and observation towers they had so that they could scan the horizon 360.

I really like the top section of the prow with what looks like little windows around it , might be cool to carry on that design feature in the rear section of the ship too. Obviously the more tiny details you add to the surface and structure the more it will help to show the scale of the ship.

That's coming along really nicely, Blind! I too like the tiered design and I agree that some additional, protrusions are there would set it off nicely.

Not sure about the cooling fin, but I'll reserve my judgement until I see where you take it with detailing...

I have about 3 scrapped bridges that didn't cut into decided to try something new and stared at a couple of German and American ww2 battleships superstructures. In the end I decide the best way was the way that always works, get a good shape you like and expand off of it. The bridge is almost complete I iust haven't had time to post pics, they will be up once I get off work.

@raged Im thinking of doing some different customization items similar to a big crows nest on iron style girders as a communication tower that can be added. I was looking for a place to do small windows like you suggested and I just couldn't find a spot for it. If you have any other ideas im open to suggestions.

@mango thanks, for the fin though it will follow the aesthetic of my original space ship I hand made, just something different for my own style. The other ships I do will have similar things as well. I think it came out nicely as I said I'll post pics later tonight.

Here is some added detail to the bridge section, i'm not sure where to go from here though. I added some small turrets and extended the lower bridges bottom part .

Wanted to do a quick mockup and side by side. I put lance turrets and launch bays on the sides for this.

Thanks man, its close to being done i can taste it but does still need some detail passes. When referencing the detail passes on the lower square part what where you thinking? Just add a rail in the middle of the lower bridge roof? Maybe do a gap but follow the shape of the lower bridge as well? I'm thinking on those diagonal pieces on the bottom i could add more of the light domes on that spot, and i will need to add some near the cooling fin as well i'm thinking.

Yep all of that will work well

Also, don't forget to do something on the area behind the bridge, either side of the fin. It's way too bare in those spots!

Did some detail passes on the bridge, actually quite a bit for the bridge. Did some added detailing to other bland and flat areas of the engine section, i think some of it came out okay other parts very good.

Progressing nicely! The bridge has definitely improved but still needs a little more detailing on the top sides of the square deck. These photos aren't as good as earlier so I can't really tell what you did behind the bridge...
