Gooood question. My personal colour scheme is a black prow, overall blue, and gold/brass trim. Obviously silver and such for things like guns and such. Don't know who this actually matches up to. Example of this scheme will be on two ships in Gothicomp this year ^^

Also, would it be possible to get a few of those ships and a full set of equipment? =D

I'd love these ships in the colours of the Sons of Horus, like this or like the Word Bearers. :D

One think that I like to do on larger models is hit the parts with some grey primer as I'm nearing completion. That way you can pick up on all of the flaws and decide if it needs any more detail. A good primer (I recommend Tamiya Surface Primer) will adhere nicely and allow further refinement/sanding where necessary.

There is no more true a statement! On my Centurion build I've found one of the best things to do when unsure about something it to just mash a piece of clay onto the area and just roughly sculpt some ideas. Once you have a design you like it's then easy to transfer it to styrene.
Oh yeah I can make that....

Nice work! My only advice is to get out of the way of your light source when taking photographs!

Since these are your own design, will you be selling them normally as well? You could make a few more models and simply open your webstore. Right? :)

Just a little update on these ships, if your into BFG you should know the name horizon, he is a leader in the community and runs the BFG annual painting competition. This year he won the prize that i donated to i forget which category, but as i didnt own any space ships from BFG or any other line when i made this ship i had no idea how it scaled. He has some fantastic side by side shots in this thread if your interested in taking a look.
