Just got my Zeus ships...

I ordered four Zeus Light Cruisers and 6 lance armed escorts.
I just wanted to give some feed back.
The models look really awesome, with really classic designs and some excellent fine detail on them.
I also found that the casting is a lot better than I've seen from certain larger companies that I won't mention.

Resin Addict models are fairly expensive, but to me the quality more than justifies the cost. For someone who is really into these types of models they offer a really great alternative to make new and interesting fleets. These are models that you can show off to make opponents jealous (Which is half the point of collecting them, surely?)

I really want to order some more of these, but I've noticed a couple of things that make me want to hold off (don't worry, nothing bad!)
The blog says that new weapon pods are in the works, and there was mention of new space marine versions of the escorts.
I'm just wondering if I should order things now or wait for the new bits to become available...

The models I've got so far are definitely highly recommended.

Thanks for the kind words mate! Always glad to hear when another customer is happy ;)

Marine versions of the escorts are a really low priority, so don't hold your breath on them - there's way more important projects in the pipeline ;)
The new weapons modules are a bit higher in priority, but I'm super busy at the moment so they might be another couple of months away.

I'll be posting some info on my current projects very soon. Suffice to say people are going to be very excited!

Cool. As long as the new things are ship related I am sure I will be pleased. The mecha are really cool looking, but they won't fit in my fleets!
I think the marine escorts could be really awesome.
I wanted to convert one of my marine fleets using your custom prows and parts, so escorts in the same style would look bad ass, so if those ever happen I would be really pleased.
I'll hold off on ordering the zeus cruisers till the new weapon pods get done, but I may order some of the other things in the mean time.

They are indeed space ship related ;)

Oh something else I thought was good was that the ships came with flying bases.
I'd assumed they wouldn't so that was a nice touch (especially since certain model companies gouge the price horribly for flying bases these days!)

The flying bases are actually only a new thing. I'm having trouble getting another batch of them though :(

Ow...
That battlegroup is coming, yes. :)

And to add:
The Zeus cruiser, the big one, is also a smooth & crisp casting. :)

I really want some of the cruisers, but I am holding off until the new side weapon bits are done, as I want a mix of weapons and they will look way better with the proper Zeus weapons rather than regular imperial ones.

I know Games workshop are gouging prices on their flying bases.
Over here it was about £3 for 5 bases last time I looked, which is frankly pretty offensive!
I've sworn off buying anything from them these days.

I've got my second set of ships and they are all very tasty.

I think the best models so far are the Zeus Light Cruiser and Zeus Escorts.
All of them are really awesome, but those ones in particular stand out to me.

I've built some light cruisers with the Zeus prow, side panels and zeus weapon sections.
Others I've used the alternate prow, left off the side sections, used regular imperial weapon pods and attach attennas on top.

This has made them look very different so they can go in different fleets (the alternate prow ones are for a fleet using Rogue trader cruisers who has a prow with a similar shape.)
I will take some pictures and post them soon, because I think it shows some of the different ways the models can be used.

Two versions based on the same model for two separate fleets.

Looks neat.
Personally I like the detailing of the zeus batteries so much I cannot be that bold to use the GW equivalents. ;)

Yeah the zeus ones are great. Still, this keeps them free for other conversions and mix ups.
Its wanting to not mix them that is why I'm waiting for more Zeus weapons before getting the cruisers.
I don't want zeus and regular on the same model, that would be tacky!
