merge 2 pieces smoothly

Postby ald111 » Thu Sep 17, 2015 9:07 pm

I am going to need to split an item in two to be able to mold it. Let's say it's a hollow cube. Suggestions on the best way to attach the two pieces together after replicating in resin, like the original was? Should I just paint the resin on the split and press together? would a strong glue be a better option? I want it to look like one piece when done.

Epoxy glue will be your best bet. Will you be painting over the seam?
Oh yeah I can make that....
