resin turned cloudy , not clear...?

Hi there, new here :)
This is what happened when i tried to make a 3-4 mm deep clear epoxy with guitar pick. it turned cloudy , defenitely not clear. I used devcon 2 ton which is supposed to be clear . it was cloudy on the mixing cup and i had hopes it will clear on the mold. Twice this happened. I mixed it for full 2 min ( about 2 ml of both types ) what is the reason for that?

It looks like the resin is full of tiny bubbles in the picture you posted. Is that what's causing the cloudiness? What is the pot life and cure time of that resin?

Looks like bubbles introduced by the mixing process. Try doing it as gently as possible and tapping the cup vigorously before pouring. When pouring, get the stream as thin as possible. This encourages the bubbles to pop as they are poured.

That's definitely bubbles. As Fleafa said, they were introduced during mixing. Other than using vacuum degassing to remove them you will have to try different pouring techniques as advised.

No, in that picture it doesn't look like bubbles like your other posts. Did it eventually cure to a clear state?

The only other possibility is that you have very high humidity that is fogging up the resin...

It cured to this creamy milky color...humidity is ok 50%. could it be the Devcon epoxy is simply the cause?

Possibly. Perhaps you should inquire with Devcon?
