Hi everyone,

First post, so hope this is the correct place within the forum for this thread!

I've completed my first piece using resin, a coffee table with trading cards set into the table top using clear polyester resin. I painted the table and attached and sealed the trading cards to the table top using 2 layers of Mod Podge. Once fully dried (left for 2 days) I mixed and poured my resin as per the manufacturers instructions. The piece looked great, but now 24 hours later there appears to have been some sort of reaction within the resin. Around the edges of the cards a milky colour residue seems to have formed. I probably wouldn't have noticed had the table not been black, but for future projects I'd like to avoid the same effect! Any help is greatly appreciated!

I wonder if the issue was caused by the glue or by the coating on the cards? The best solution will be to do some small tests trying different combinations to resolve what the actual cause is.
Oh yeah I can make that....
