Making a lightbox

Postby antonio.castles » Fri Mar 18, 2016 3:28 am

Hello forum,

I have virtually no experience with resins, but I have a project that I want to make and I think it would be also a good way to learn. I want to make some lightboxes like this one:

Do you think resin is a good way to go? I was thinking on making a mold out of sheets of wood and then pouring the resin with some white color, but I don't know if that will work. What do you think? Im thinking about this method because I want it to be only one piece.

Thank you a lot!

It can be done but will be quite expensive and not trivial to do. I definitely wouldn't recommend it as a starter project :(
Oh yeah I can make that....
