From time to time you wander onto a site or blog that just blows your mind, today was one of those times for me. I was reading some threads on the macross world forums and saw this thread which just about had me crying it was so epic.

The short story is that he's been working on a a remote control carrier ship for close to 10 years now, holy crap 10YEARS!!! Besides being just an incredible scratch build with radio control, working LED lighting and a motorized ramp it's built to hold a deployment force of the 1/200 scale macross/robotech models that I've been collecting.
For me this goes way beyond the typical range of hobby nerd-gasm, this is like nerd-gasm that shoots rainbows, teddy bears, and steaming hot pizza all at once.
Around page 23 or so he has shots of the command bridge and some rellay tiny motorized gear parts for making the radar dishes turn.
Also in a seperate thread has has all sorts of ground vehicles and ordinance loaders to compliment the scenery.
