Degasser brands and mold type?

I have two questions today,

#1: What is a good resin vacuum degasser brand, that is somewhat economic($100-$200 range)? I have been looking around but I do not know which brands offer good quality and a good price.

#2: What would be the best way to go about making a mold of this part? As you can see, it is quite small and has a hole going through the middle, that tapers towards the very end.

The availability of vacuum pumps depends very much on your location. You don't need any particular name brand - I've used a Chinese "no-name" pumps for years and it's still going strong (although the power switch is slightly broken and I haven't gotten around to fixing it). Just make sure that the flow rate and vacuum level are appropriate.

Moulding that part would be a piece of cake. Just use a split mould with the split parallel to the flat are of the part. Have the wider end of the hole pointing towards the bottom of the mould so that it will release when you pull the part up and out

For a 10L chamber we recommend a minimum flow rate of 7CFM. Any pump intended for refrigeration work will reach sufficient vacuum level.
