As I said before, this is a great idea and sure to be a handy resource! I'll move this thread to "Advisory" once we've got a few replies happening.

One thing that we do have to be careful of (and probably a large reason of why we won't get many people sharing their moulding info) is that we can't have pictures and information about moulding and casting others' IP. NebuK your resin figures are really borderline on this and I say that they're OK up until the point we get a complaint about them. Certainly we can't be showing moulds for the likes of Games Workshop parts as that is just asking for trouble!

The image hosting is built into the forum but only certain members have access to it. What will happen is that you post your picture using you usual image server and then I (or one of the moderators) will upload that picture to the RA server and embed the local copy in the post. Yes, it's a bit of manual work, but I don't expect this thread to explode with replies that quickly :P

I've got to make some moulds on the weekend so will remember to take some shots then!
Oh yeah I can make that....

I will try and get some photos at some point of my older two part molds which are usefull examples.

Photos of my new molds are useless to beginners unless they are beginners with hundreds of pounds of casting equipment just lying around.. :P

Well ... i'll just do a example, despite beeing as green as a beginner could get:

Image of the Parts to Mold:

Mold Type: two-sided with clay
Molding Technology: room-pressure
Casting Technology: room-pressure
Molding with: trollfactory.de silicone RTV, 4000 ± 300 cP, Shore A 18-20
Short Description of the parts to mold: The Panty didn't need any great detail (thats why i didn't care about the pouring channel directly between the legs). The face was the only important part, with special care for the ears...
Special techniques used: A small pouring basin at the end of the pouring channel that could accomodate bubbles and hinder them from flowing into the pouring channels for the parts (by having the "taps" for the part-channels not at the bottom of the basin). I've used hexnuts for alignment. Also: Air Vents for the parts.

Mold Layout Image:

Result: It was my first mould/cast and i'm quite pleased with the result. As expected i got a bubble at the top of the panty, but it doesn't matter there.
Tips for copycats: None :/

PS: @mangozac: Is there a image upload function in the bbs now and/or is there some way to tell the img-tag to downsize the pictures (as in <img width="$FOO">)? *EDIT: Ah, its just the preview that doesn't do it automagically ;P
