This one beats any others I've seen so far, $499! Best thing for me...they come pre-assembled, ready to go.

It kills me that these company never have any examples of "inked" pieces to show. I'm talking about something that clearly demonstrates the level of detail achievable. Might be worth some further investigation.

Kennui beat you to it by a few days :P

I did see some examples (without any scale mind you) on their site, and as with any other extrusion design you get horrendous stepping. The specs list very fine resolution for the machine, but the bottom line is that the surface finish is limited by the fact that it's an extrusion design, not by the resolution.

DLP printers hold the most promise for hobby work.
