I don't have any spray guns, lol. I just pick my pressure pots up on Ebay for around 40 pounds. Got 3 now, 2 10 litres and a 5 gallon one.

I happily put together the parts *plays tetris music* like Deadmeat showed me (thanks A LOT).
Here is what I got, I didn't screw the parts together yet, wanted to be sure before.
Please tell me if I did something wrong and am going to explode with my pressure pot.
Thanks and luv <3~

Looks great - apply some thread tape, do everything up and you'll be in business!
Oh yeah I can make that....

Yo, me again,
so sometimes when I put the whole thing under pressure, the pot starts leaking at 50~55psi from between the lid and the pot, where the rubber is. Am I cursed and got a faulty pot or is it something that happens sometimes ?

Is there anything solid caught in the rim which could be interfering with the seal? Are all 4 clamps done up the SAME tightness?

both my pots leak a little bit.. its annoying but not enough to affect the curing resin..

also check this out-

Nothing more than a dust I think, I usually clean the rubber then all is fine but still fishy.
Clamps I do my best with my girly strength xD
When I mean leaking I mean it makes a big PSCHHHHHHHHHHHHH and depressurise 10 psi all a sudden.

Oh nice thanks *follows auction*

Yeah that sounds like a bad lid seal. The gasket itself should be fine (although I do recall someone - maybe Blind Pig - recommending to coat it with vaseline to help it seal OK). Maybe I've just got girly hands, but I often had trouble doing up the wing-bolts on the clamps tight enough. I made a little wooden block with a slot in it which helped immensely, but when one of the clamp bolts broke I went with a much better solution as first recommended by Mark from Dream Forge:

Replace the wing-bolts with standard hex-headed (hex-cap) bolts. Then use a to do them up. I find it a little slower than doing it by hand, but I've not once had any lid sealing issues with it.
Oh yeah I can make that....

Ooops

OK maybe I actually remember you saying not to use Vaseline! Good to keep in mind though...

I've been using Vaseline to seal pressurised Lego mould boxes for a while now with great success...

Anything else we should not put under pressure, while we're at it? ^^;
