Rotational casting issues

Hi! I'm new here and wanted to shoot out a question about something that happened with a rotational casting I was working on last week. I'm doing fairly large castings of faux taxidermy. I'm doing a easyflo120 rotational casting skin and filling with a rigid casting foam. I don't have a machine so i am rotating by hand. My resin started clumping together and grabbing on to my nice first layer of skin as I was slushing it. I was outside and it was HOT. Could this be my problem? Do I need to take to casting indoors? Also, I tried using baby powder for the first time when this happened and wondered if that didn't mix well with what I was using or if this was just a coincidence that I had problems the first time using it. Anyone have any tips for rotational "slush" casting?
