So I just tried to encapsulate a rose in a block of resin. It started to smoke and bubble. I mixed the resin 1:1. Poured it in. About 5 minutes later it started smoking and bubbling. What did I do wrong?
The mold I was using is 8"x"4"x3".

You need to provide information about the resin - there are many types, what you built the enclosure from, and how you prepared the rose.
