I am working on a study project to make unsaturated polyester resin from PET waste. I am stuck on the second step of the reaction. This involves the reaction between maleic anhydride and BHET. the product include polyester resin, BHET (inconverted) and maleic anhydride (unconverted).
My basic question is that how we can separate polyester resin from the unconverted BHET and maleric anhydride.
Any help would be appreciated.
