Two of my Destroyer designs for are as good as ready.

Do you guys have any final feedback before I'm shipping them off for printing?

I like it; it's got good lines and good silhouettes. Think only thing that sticks out is the vertical narrowing in the middle. The same point is marked horizontally (visible in plan view) but doesn't narrow so drastically and thus doesn't weaken the silhouette. Any way to produce a similar effect in the side view? I know it's a 40k thing so it could be intentionally so, but it's a pet peeve of mine, so feedback it gets :P

The idea behind this ship is that its weaponry is hidden inside the hull/prow of the ship. It's only visible because the ship's hatches are opened. I guess the model could also be used as a Defence Monitor.

A few things that still need to be done:
(1) Tweaking some of the details
(2) Making an enclosed prow variant (where you don't see any weapons protruding)
(3) Make two bits to enclose the top part of the hull, to make it seem as if the turrets are hiding down below in the hull.

Teaser...

These'll be available at Vanguard Miniatures from tomorrow...

Not sure yet when the bombers will be out, but I was curious if anybody would like to see a 6mm version of this one?

I've started working on a Lance Frigate as a follow-up to the Heavy Frigate I've done for Vanguard Miniatures.

I'm wondering which version you guys prefer: 3 lances (sides and bottom), 3 lances (sides and prow), or 4 lances (sides, bottom, and prow)?

The Defence Monitor and prow / turrets sprue is ready. If there's any other feedback, please let me know before I ship it off for printing.

I like how that lance destroyer is looking. Not too sure about the frigates yet. From what I see of the finished casts of the normal frigates, they are already pretty chunky in width and I think the side lances are just accenting that more. Maybe you could do smaller lances or even a smaller and shorter multi-barrel lance battery on each side instead of the single large cannon?

I know what you mean regarding the Frigate, I'm also a bit in doubt regarding the lances. I like the chunky lance on the Destroyer, it makes it like a siege ship, which was what I was going for. The Frigate however, should be more akin to a sniper ship, it needs something relatively sleek. Maybe thinner lances might be more in order?
