Velvet's Chibis

Postby Velvet Mark » Mon Feb 09, 2015 9:49 pm

Hi there, I thought id just show these minis off that I sculpted, cast and painted for me and my son to play board games like Super Dungeon Explore and Arcadia Quest.

These were done over the course of last year, I initially cast in pewter however switched to resin and haven't looked back:)

Wow! So many chibi minis! I think Chibi Hendrix was my favourite, although I'm sure I saw Boba Fett in there somewhere...

Great work! Thanks for sharing!
Oh yeah I can make that....

Very very cool. Completely agree that SDE is missing a classic Teutonic style knight! :D

Among an array of great sculpts, other stands outs for me are the Chaos Knight and Star Wars character. :)

Hehe thanks! I know, thats over the course of a year. Ive got a thread on the Soda Pop minis site
http://community.sodapopminiatures.com/ ... f=5&t=2169 Ive painted more minis in this past year than i have in the previous 15 years!

Plus im ordering resin and silicone as a hobby essential, rather than the fad of the month purchase...

Cheers mate, I certainly do. The majority are £6 each plus shipping, however if you cast stuff up that I might be interested drop me an email and we can do a trade. mark_keenan@hotmail.co.uk. or pm me on facebook/instagram
https://instagram.com/velvet_mark/
https://www.facebook.com/velvet.mark.9

For trade I collect
~10mm Warmaster (if anybody has some 'fan made' stuff hit me up for trade, or ill even pay cash. Im after Dark ELves atm)
~6mm Epic
~GW Man o war
~15mm Flames of War
~1/2400 or 1/6000 modern ships

An eclectic mix, im sure you would agree!

I tend to sculpt my minis multi part. Easier to cast, easier to convert, you can get a fair bit of varity of poses out of the one cast.

Thanks again for looking!
