2 part foam casting using back pressure

Postby jdub1981 » Fri Jul 11, 2014 12:34 am

New member here. Not exactly sure where to ask this question. I am building a fairly large car part and have determined that a self skinning foam will be the best material for my part. The plan originally was to do a large fiberglass mold with a large flange and use a plaster bandage buildup of the opposite side. I have never used this material before and am not sure where to find good info on this subject.

Im starting to think a 2 part fiberglass mold will be better for my needs. Does anyone have experience using 2 ppart self skinning foam?

Hi jdub, welcome to RA!

I'm sorry but I have next to no experience with this kind of thing so really can't offer you any advice. Perhaps one of our other members will have something to suggest?
Oh yeah I can make that....
