I watched that last year, looks gorgeous, great designs and an interesting story too. Anyone who like ships engaged in massive space battles should watch it ;)

lol, for the French the bases of those vessels are really ... boring? In gothicomp they are known for their extreme work often.

The top fw strike cruisers seems neat painted. Perhaps it is a poor image but the public choice doesn't seem that superb. The wings and eagle in front of the bridge seem a bit to overdone.

And then it must be the picture quality because Winterman 's bug even seems a bad job for what he usually does (remember that Eldar vessel....).

But I really like the last one!

It's more than likely the lighting on the bug. It's tough to do a paintjob that holds up well under flat florescent lighting that also looks good under studio lights. It's even more difficult to do something that can look good with a snapshot outside of studio lighting.
